center. This is a very successful ESRA project, now in its third year. Until ESRA became involved in the center the children only studied until 1pm and then went home. Now they are in a framework till 5pm and the afternoon program focuses on enhancing the children's educational and social abilities, reinforcing normal behaviors and discouraging violent ones.

wife Pia and their three children in 1986. Although Bent had been seriously ill for two years, he was always positive and optimistic, so his death in August, soon after his 64th birthday, came as a shock. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
