Ruth Rasnic, founder of shelters for battered women, is to give a talk to ESRA early next year on her experiences. Charismatic Ruth, recipient of the Israel Prize and other awards, will speak in a private home in Herzliya Pituach on Tuesday February 23, 2016.

Her life's work started when, as a young girl, she witnessed a neighbor being badly beaten by her husband. The bruised and frightened woman had nowhere to go nor anyone to protect her.

Ruth, a Herzliya resident, has given talks throughout Israel and in many parts of the world.
