the end of another school year I have to report only commendations and praises for the volunteers at Bilu and Yavne schools.
Agnes Ben David, Betty Feiler, Ruth Ferguson and Stanley Shapiro have helped us and our pupils so faithfully and so utterly professionally that it has been a privilege to work with them. In addition to attending on their regular days, they also came into school specially to help on the day of the Fifth Grade Standardized Test thus enabling us to give more specific attention to those pupils needing it most.
We all look forward to their weekly visits, and pupils and teachers alike love them dearly. The children vie for the chance of learning with the volunteers and under their patient and gentle encouragement begin to make such progress as can only be made on an individual basis.
Thank you for making the shidduch between us. Long may it last.
