Dear Merle,

Firstly, I would like to thank you enormously for the inclusion of Carl Hoffman’s interview with me in the 40th anniversary issue of ESRAmagazine.

Three pages – wow!

Secondly, to say how much I admire you for the tremendous effort you have made during the past many years to create and edit ESRAmagazine and nurture an organization without comparison such as ESRA.

Ever since I met you over 34 years ago when you were the PR person for Maccabi Health Fund I have wondered from whence did you get your overwhelming energy and enormous talent?

Thank you for allowing me to contribute in my own way as an illustrator to the magazine.
