Having a great time . . . members of ESRA Netanya enjoying the Pzazzband evening (above and below)

Netanya’s Carole Kaye is a great advocate of Facebook. She has created a Facebook group named “ESRA Netanya” in which she regularly advertizes events and happenings, including descriptions of what ESRA is about and the numerous projects supported by our great organization.

Carole was delighted to receive a message via her Facebook group from Harvey Benson, drummer and chief organizer of Pzazzband, offering to provide a concert for ESRA Netanya.  Carole and Jacqui Waterman, coordinator of the ESRA Events Committee, listened to the band via YouTube and were greatly impressed. Together with the Events Committee, the decision was taken to organize a Pzazzband evening.

This Facebook connection resulted in one of the most enjoyable and entertaining events ever hosted by ESRA Netanya.  Not only did the fortunate participants sing along with this amazing group but some even managed to find space to dance!

Songs of the 60s and 70s were sung by Gilda Hami who together with guest trombone player Amnon Ben Artzy, contributed their outstanding talents.

Carole Kaye warmly welcomed the guests and Jacqui Waterman thanked the terrific band as well as all present for ensuring a better tomorrow for youngsters benefitting from ESRA’s projects.

Barbara Kliner, chair of ESRA Netanya, expressed a big thank you to the members of the Events Committee whose dedication and hard work resulted in a memorable and successful fundraising event.
