At the recent Annual General Meeting of Herzliya Golden Friendship Club Natalie Goodman, retiring chairman, reported on another successful year of enjoyable and varied activities. These included talks by members and outside speakers, musical presentations, play readings, games, discussions, exercises, video shows, celebrations of holidays and birthdays and annual picnic and coffee mornings, all in the warm, congenial atmosphere that characterizes the club - the longest-running social group in ESRA.

Special thanks were expressed to the committee members, in particular to Nat Granby for his efficient role of treasurer over many years and to Cyril Solk for his continued appetizing catering for Chanukah and other parties.

Natalie received a vote of thanks for her past three years of cheerful, conscientious and caring chairmanship. In addition to leading the club, Natalie, a dedicated grandmother, is a member of the Raanana Knitting Circle. She personally delivers their weekly contribution of clothes and blankets for the premature ward at Schneider Hospital, and makes original gifts for family and friends at ceramic and vitrage classes.
