City’s 10th festival draws the crowds
Photos: Anthony Green
Warm weather and clear skies proved irresistible for many Modiin families when they attended the city’s 10th Kite Festival in February. It was a great excuse for a family picnic in Chativat Yiftach Park, where the event was held. And even some of the fathers present allowed their children have a go with the kites of many shapes and colors! But it wasn’t all plain sailing . . . there was the odd mishap, as seen in the photo at the foot of the page, when a kite came to grief in the branches of a tree.
