THE ESRA Knitting Group was well represented at the recent Sustainability Fair in Raanana, and they were thrilled to be received with such enthusiasm. People were amazed at the knitted items on display and to hear about all the locations in Israel to which we donate our sweaters, blankets, hats and other items for the needy. This past year we donated more than 1400 items to hospitals, shelters, kindergartens and underprivileged families. This wonderful group of knitters started 30 years ago with 5 ladies and has now grown to comprise over 40 women. We meet once a week to knit, socialize and enjoy a morning together being productive. The average age of our members is around 80. We rely solely on donations to supply our group with wool so please send us some wool.
