MDA ambulance in the toy museum

Anyone planning a visit to the UK, and particularly the south coast, might be interested in this . . .

Tucked away below the forecourt of Brighton Railway Station is the city’s Toy and Model Museum.

This is where older immigrants who grew up in Britain can wallow in memories of childhood toys . . . model cars, to scale railways, soft toys, slot machines and lots, lots more.

Those with a keen eye might even spot this miniature in one of the many cabinets . . . a white ambulance car with the words: ‘Red Magen David’ emblazoned down the side in English and Hebrew.

Just think, you travel 2,500 miles and there’s a Magen David Adom ambulance waiting. Let’s hope we never need it!
