Linda Streit on being awarded the 2018 Nefesh b'Nefesh Sylvan Adams Bonei Zion Prize in the Culture, Sports & Arts category.
In 2003, Linda founded the Daniel Amichai Center for Rowing and Nautical Studies in memory of her son, Daniel Amichai Marcus, who was a potential Olympic athlete. He was killed in a car crash in 1993. The Center has become Israel's leading facility for rowing, sailing, kayaking, and dragon boats, and serves as the home of our national Olympic and Paralympic team.
