Petach Tikvah members at the fair (from left) Gabriela Translateur, Edna Chayen, David Chester, Miriam Polak and Hardy Gottlieb

The ESRA Petach Tikva Arts & Handicrafts Group members who attended the Netanya Fair spent a sunny afternoon in the shade of the garden of the Yona building in central Netanya on September 20th. All the merchandise on our stall was set up early thanks to the efficient transport kindly provided by Sagui Brimmer.

Our arts and handicrafts goods were displayed on a table kindly provided by the Netanya branch and on our own screen/frame design assembled on-site, where we hung paintings and beautifully embroidered cushions. Miriam Pollak and Edna Chayen set out the numerous earrings, necklaces, greeting cards, colored boxes, decorated hamsas, bookends, et al.

Customers started to come to the stalls from 4pm. However, by 7pm we realized that the anticipated evening rush had failed to materialize, and so we had a pleasant time but not much business!

We still have many articles left over for the next occasion. Should anybody be interested please contact:
