On December 8 at 19.30, the first Senior Dilemma Forum will take place in Beit Issie Shapiro, Raanana. The Senior Dilemma Forum is being organized to share/provide information to the English speakers in Israel on how best to access services when their loved ones can no longer take care of themselves.
Four short film clips will be shown, featuring individuals and their families who have grappled with the issues. These include: navigating the National Insurance Institute (Bituach Leumi), finding and managing a caregiver, and where to turn to get the help you need.
An invited panel will discuss these and other issues. The panel will include a representative from Bituach Leumi, a representative from the Health Ministry and social workers specializing in the elderly.
An information and contact sheet will be provided to all attendees.
Cost: NIS 35 ESRA members, NIS 50 non-members.
Call ESRA 09 748 2957 to reserve your place at the Senior Dilemma Forum.
