Picture an ancient fortress, sunset over the Mediterranean, a gentle breeze, a cool drink and a little light music. This combination is a delightful tonic for a stressed mind and a tired body and can be enjoyed every Friday afternoon during the summer months at the Apollonia National Park.

Each week offers a different musical experience. If your taste runs to folk, country, Irish, Gypsy, Jazz, Latin, Greek, popular songs from the 60s and 70s, old Russian songs, Flamenco, Turkish or any other style, you can choose from the published program and relax in a magic setting with others who share your musical preferences.

Concerts begin an hour or so before sunset and end at sunset. Tickets should be ordered in advance, and the price is NIS 60 or NIS 50 for National Parks Authority cardholders

You can obtain full details of the schedule, in English, from The Israel Nature & National Parks Protection Authority by calling *3639 or from the Apollonia National Park itself at 09 955 0929. Hebrew speakers can go to the website www.parks.org.il and follow the appropriate links to the Apollonia National Park and its concert program.
