Plea for awnings for the troops

ESRA received a request for help from Omer Manos, the son of Uri Manos, a retired army general of the 405 battalion, which was called into Gaza on the first day of Operation Protective Edge.

The soldiers in 405 artillery battalion have taken a major and most effective part in the Operation. Omer requested the purchase of awnings for the soldiers for protection from the severe heat. The Manos family has been supporting the battalion for many years through friends and organizations who are called on with requests to support the battalion in times of need.
