technology to Israel. During World War II the Americans set up a camp to treat allied casualties at Tel Litwinsky – this became Tel Hashomer. Dr Wall was in the USA medical corps and while Tel Litwinsky was being evacuated managed to get a large amount of the medical supplies to the Hagannah and where he first met Dr. Chaim Sheba. Head of a hospital in the USA Wall maintained his connection with Dr Sheba and has always supported Tel Hashomer in many ways. Last December Wall was honored by the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer at a ceremony in Orlando USA.
