He concludes "I've read demographic studies of the US and it's estimated that within another 40 years Anglos will be a minority in the US. I don't know what the situation is in other states but with California being the most populated, from my perspective I would say that number is way off and today's minorities will be the majority much sooner."

The steep rock face must have made the building very difficult as everything had to be pulled by ropes or trolleys. visited the modern city of Quito high up in a narrow valley, Otavelo with its large open market and Mindo which is a great tourist resort. Five days were spent in a very damp jungle where tree monkeys, very large spiders, Piraña fish and tarantulas were amongst the species that were seen there.
