The ESRA Modiin knitting ladies have had a busy year, knitting beanies for IDF lone soldiers, beanies and matching scarves, which were given as Chanukah gifts to the children at Neve ESRA, Modiin’s afternoon care center for children at risk.  They are now making baby blankets, hats, mittens and booties for neo-natal and maternity wards, and stuffed toys, beanies and scarves for older children in the oncology and dialysis departments at one of the major children’s hospitals in Israel.
