Having a good fress at the picnic

It was good thinking by the experienced picnickers on the recently-formed ESRA Haifa committee to get to Carmel Forest early on Chol Hamoed to reserve tables for their first Pesach picnic, held near Hai Bar, at the rear of Haifa University. Around two dozen people attended – including four newcomers who said they wanted to join ESRA. Pesach food was shared all round, and new friendships were made. Before leaving, it was agreed that this would become an annual event. Some people stayed a little longer, to walk in the forest and enjoy the beautiful carpet of multi-colored flowers.
