It gave us great pleasure to be part of the marvelous celebrations organized to commemorate Esra's 30th Anniversary and we would like to add our names to many others who have congratulated you on this outstanding event at Kibbutz Shefayim last Tuesday. We managed to attend four excellent lectures and if there is any criticism at all to be leveled …you had organized so many outstanding events of great interest and entertainment during the course of one day, that it was difficult to decide which to omit........so, next time round, please give us at least two days of this wonderful atmosphere, culture and entertainment!

We would also like to congratulate Merle and all her wonderful helpers for the development and hard work that has made Esra the unique organization that it is. May you all go from strength to strength.

The celebration, despite the rain, was an outstanding success. The thought, the organization and the tremendous amount of work that must have gone into arranging everything, from venue, speakers, entertainers, bazaar, food - you name it, it was there - was unbelievable.

One small 'fashla' – since no time was given between lectures for participants to get to the relevant hall, they had to start late to enable people to arrive… notwithstanding, and despite not having roller skates to aid me in my rush from hall to hall - I managed five extremely interesting lectures, a lovely interlude with Linda Tomer and a delightful Merry Widow with Barbara Blum.

Kol HaKavod again and again to Esra and all your wonderful volunteers and especially to Jane Krivine and Adele Hunter for their monumental thought and work in arranging this lovely and very successful day. Thank you all.
