ESRA Modiin sought a new and innovative event to open their social activities after the summer break. On Saturday evening, September 10, 2011, they presented an entertaining evening in the form of dessert by candlelight with play readings by the Modiin Play Reading Group directed by Harry Wagner.

The talented performers - Alissa Altman, Cynthia Barmor, Brenda Brett, Dov Greenstone, Sonya Pearlman, Edie and Harry Wagner - were outstanding in the dialogues they presented. The readings ran the gambit from comedy to satire, and represented various conflicts we experience in our lives.

The atmosphere was delightful and altogether enhanced by the candlelight, beautiful table coverings and delicious desserts.
