Kibbutz Shefayim

1 9 7 9 - 2 0 0 8

ANNIVERSARIES abound in 2008, and ESRA will be putting on a day to remember - Wednesday October 29, 2008 - at Kibbutz Shefayim, between Herzliya and Netanya. This will be a unique celebration of 60 years of Anglo immigration to the State of Israel and a much deserved pat on the back to ESRA’s members for their 30-year contribution to Israel’s disadvantaged and English speaking communities. This festival day, from morning to late, will pack in a cornucopia of content. There will be literary workshops, ESRA exhibitions for all its activities, stalls and displays, talks by Israel’s brightest and best, concerts, workshops, comedy performances, children's events, documentaries, outside events and indoor events. Every hour, on the hour, there will be a choice of lectures to attend, exhibits and gift stalls to peruse, workshops to take part in, performances and displays… with friends to meet over coffee or a meal. Kibbutz Shefayim with its auditorium, its numerous lecture halls and classrooms, its covered areas, its grassy banks, its restaurant and cafeteria facilities lends itself perfectly to this special celebration of thirty years of ESRA activity. The tickets will also include light refreshments throughout the day. The kibbutz restaurant will be open for reasonably priced three-course lunches and there will be a cafeteria at the auditorium for light meals. The Kibbutz Hotel offers reductions for ESRA participants.
