Gloria and Eddie Scott recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. We at the Hand in Hand food pantry were very thrilled when they asked their family and friends to donate money to our project in lieu of gifts.

Thanks Gloria and Eddie for your thoughtfulness and generosity. We wish you many more years together in good health and happiness.

Gloria and Eddie Scott made aliyah to Raanana in 1982, both found work in Tel Aviv and remained with their respective employers more than 20 years until they retired and moved to Netanya to care for Gloria’s parents who were both over 90. They soon became very involved in voluntary community work and also with their bet knesset.

Eddie is an expert bridge player, teaches and runs weekly bridge competitions. Gloria also plays bridge and enjoys her weekly exercise class.

Eddie and Gloria have two sons and a daughter, all of whom live in Israel. They have seven grandchildren including the latest addition, Matan, born a few months ago. At the end of March they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Said the Scotts: “We both feel very fortunate to be living in Israel enjoying the ups and downs in our beautiful homeland

together with all our family and many friends.”
