Celebrating Henriette Sheffer 90^th By Shirley Kirsch

We, the members of the ESRA Tel Aviv Knitting Club, spent a most delightful three hours on September 9, 2012.
Henriette Sheffer, our beloved member, celebrated her 90^th birthday.

For quite a while before that day plans were made in secret to give her a party. Members volunteered to carry out different assignments. They all excelled themselves, so it was a great success. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, but more important was the fact that Henriette had a super time!
Henriette is one of the longest-participating members of the knitting club. She is modest, wise, witty, intelligent, elegant and respected by all.
As we wished her on that day, we again wish her a healthy, happy and prosperous year ahead - and thank her for giving us the excuse to have a party!

Shirley Kirsch is the founder and group organizer of the ESRA Tel Aviv Knitting Club.
